This product is part of the insulation material family. novaplan ® 02980 consists of a mixture of organic and inorganic fibres as well as mineral fillers. Thus this material is resistant to continuous temperatures up to 1000°C. Due to the portion of organic fibres and binders and in consequence the temporary development of fume and smell at first temperature load, novaplan ® 02980 is recommended for use at continuous temperatures up to 600°C. Typical applications: gasket for exhaust systems – cladded between perforated steel shielding component encased in closed mouldings novaplan ® 02980 is successfully used in the worldwide OEM and has an outstanding performance in heat insulation and sound-absorption.
This product is part of the insulation material family. novaplan ® 03000 consists of a mixture of organic and inorganic fibres as well a mineral fillers. Thus this material is resistant to temperatures up to1000°C. This material contains a special mineral flame retardant, which makes this material outstanding with regard to environmental friendliness (non-halogen) and efficiency to exhaust gas rejection. The portion of organic binders and in consequence the low development of exhaust gases letnovaplan ® 03000 meet the requirements of ASTM SAE J369 at flammability. Therefore this material is recommended for use at continuous temperatures up to 900°C. This product is part of the insulation material family. novaplan ® HT 03075 consists of a well defined composition of biosoluble mineral fibres and high-temperature resistant fillers and thus provides an effective thermal insulation and sound-absorption. Due to the unique low portion of organic binders this material is resistant to continuous temperatures up to1000°C! novaplan ® HT 03075 is incombustible and releases basically no contamination not even at high temperature loads. Typical applications: between one face perforated steel encased in closed shielding components novaplan ® HT 03075 is mainly used for higher temperature range in OEM applications world-wide and where lowest contents of fumigation are required.
